IT'S ALL CLEAR NOW. The confusion surrounding the IPL player retention which made headlines for the past few weeks is now settled. After the IPL Governing Council met yesterday, it has been reported that teams will be allowed to retain a maximum of 5 players going into the players' auction in 2018.
IPL franchises will be allowed to retain up to five players ahead of the auction for the season 11.
