FC GOA has signed Salgaocar FC striker Darryl Duffy and Pune FC defender Luciano Sabrosa, completing its squad ahead of the pre-season training in Dubai, as reported by PTI.
FC Goa media spokesperson said the Goan franchise of the Indian Super League (ISL) had a vacant slot available in the international player category and another in the additional player quota. Both the slots have been filled yesterday after completing the signing of Duffy and Brazilian defender Sabrosa.
FC Goa left for Dubai today for pre-season training.
Duffy will be on loan from Salgaocar FC till the end of the ISL season and will return to his parent club for their I-League campaign.
Having completed their minimum international player quota of eight players and a marquee, FC Goa were free to sign a player of their choice as part of the additional quota.
