India’s Gurdarshan “St. Lion” Mangat joins Brave Combat Federation
BRAVE HAVE unveiled their latest superstar signing as the huge Indian prospect Gurdarshan Mangat (8-1) will fight on the Brave 2: Dynasty fight card on December 2nd.
This is a huge coup for Brave as the Indian/Canadian fighter who trains at the famous Tristar gym has shown that he has the attributes to become the most successful Indian MMA fighter ever.
He has amassed an impressive record as a professional and gone from strength-to-strength in his career, showing his killer instinct in the cage and gaining a reputation as a machine who finishes his opponents.
After being part of Revolution Fight Team , Mangat joined the famous Tristar gym, which produced machines like George St Pierre and Rory McDonald, and there Mangat focused more on his ground skills. The product we see today is a very complete, well-rounded mixed martial artist, with excellent kickboxing and devastating finishing ability on the ground.
He will be a big draw for Indian fans, who in Mangat have a genuine prospect on a global scale.
Mangat is currently riding a four fight winning streak and following a hat-trick of Rear Naked Choke wins, he proved in his last fight he can go the distance if necessary, gaining a unanimous decision win over Damen Wood.
He has constantly expressed his desire to reach the pinnacle of the sport and he will continue his journey at Brave 2: Dynasty on December 2nd.
