THE BELLATOR 163 card had to go through some tough times before it finally kicked off, but in the end, it turned out to be a solid show. The highlight of the night was the victory of Phil Davis, who dominated Liam McGeary for five whole rounds to become the new Light Heavyweight champion of Bellator.
This was the first defeat for McGeary and as for Davis; there wouldnât have been a better way to start of his title reign.
Elsewhere, in the co-main event, Brennan Ward secured a first round victory over Saad Awad. Two fights were cancelled just hours before the fight and it did have a toll on the overall show. Nevertheless, the crowning of Phil Davis has clearly made headlines. Here are the complete results.
