Pro Kabaddi introduces 'Kabaddi Trumps' to engage more fans on Twitter
THE PRO KABADDI SEASON 2 has caught on like wildfire and is in full swing across cities in India. This year, the tournament has seen a sizeable increase in the number of fans and support from various sections of the society. Fans are thronging stadiums in large numbers to witness their favourite team’s performance. With the second edition now reaching its business end, teams are vying for a spot at the top and the race has only intensified.
Just hours before U Mumba’s match against the Telugu Titans on Tuesday, Pro Kabaddi introduced a fun, interactive concept called as “Kabaddi Trumps” on the social networking site, Twitter.

Fans of Pro Kabaddi were asked to tweet using the hashtag #KabaddiTrumps and collect trump cards of their favourite players. 15 of the fastest collectors stand a chance to win some cool prizes, which included limited edition signed memorabilia by the players. Fans were quick to respond, and this paved the way for some brilliant fan engagement. The trump cards mention all details about the respective players – from stars to matches played, to raid points and so on. Here are a few examples:
