Rohit Sharma buys 30-crore flat in South Mumbai
INDIAN CRICKETER ROHIT SHARMA has bought a plush 4-BHK flat worth Rs. 30 crore in the Worli area of South Mumbai. Rohit, who is currently touring Sri Lanka, recently got engaged to Ritika Sajdeh, a sports manager and his girlfriend of six years.
The sprawling flat is said to be on the 29th floor of the 53-storeyed Ahuja Towers. The 28-year old Mumbaikar's sea-facing house offers a stunning 270 degree view of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. It is the location of the property that seems to have attracted the recently-engaged cricketer. The property is situated at a 20-minute drive from the Wankhede stadium, and is also close to the airport. A spokesperson at Ahuja Constructions gave further confirmation on the deal in conversation with Mid-Day,
“It's a pleasure to have India's cricket icon as one of our star residents.”
Rohit's newly purchased house is surrounded with all modern ammenites and is ready for possession. Bunty Sajdeh, CEO of Cornerstone Sports & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. further spoke to DNA,
“He [Rohit] has been looking for a house for a while now and I’m glad he has found a great property in Ahuja Towers, Worli, which is centrally located and is one of Mumbai’s premium areas. For Rohit, location is important because of his lifestyle [training and travelling]. So, the fact that it’s just a two-minute drive from the sea link is a huge bonus. Ahuja Towers also has some top-notch amenities, which are a big draw.”
