Karman Kaur, the lone face in the girl's category from India in RD 2 of French Open
JUNIOR TENNIS PLAYER KARMAN KAUR THANDI is the only Indian player in the girl's category to play in the ongoing French Open. The 17-year-old has a made a winning start to her campaign.
In the first round, she trumped Oana Gavrila of Romania in straight sets 6-1, 7-5. Though it was a easy first set win for the Indian, she had to fight hard to win the second and claim the match.
Karman will next play fifth seed Dayana Yastremska of Ukraine.
