Santina triumph in Rome, win their first ever title on red clay
WORLD’S BEST WOMEN’S DOUBLES PAIR of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis finally put an end to their title drought after successfully triumphing at the Masters event in Rome yesterday.

Santina beat the experienced pair of Elina Vesnina and Ekaterina Makarova 6-1, 6-7(5) 10-3 and in the process also managed to win their first ever title on the red clay.
After coming close in the past few weeks and losing in the finals of Porsche Open and Madrid, Santina finally got a confidence boosting win under their belt.
Sania/Martina will now enter Roland Garros next week as one of the overwhelming favourites.
