TFG FANTASY PUNDIT: Pitch in Kolkata to play sluggish, PAK & BAN spinners might rule the roost

Overview

As Pakistan and Bangladesh will lock horns in the WT20 group stage, expect the wicket at Kolkata to play slow and low. 

Both teams have some capable spinners and give the nature of the pitch, it would make sense to draft in some spinners in your dream teams. 

Furthermore, keep in mind that Pakistani batting is wobbly, but their bowling is very potent.

PAK- Sharjeel Khan, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Imad Wasim, Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Irfan 

BAN- Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim,  Soumya Sarkar, Mahmadullah, Shabbir Rahman, Mashrafe Mortaza, Shakib AL Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Nasir Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Al-Amin Hossain  

Players who cannot be ignored for this round 

Tamim Iqbal- He was Bangladesh’s best batsman in the qualifiers. His hundred against Oman a few days back was just incredible. 

Mohammad Amir- If you would have followed the recently concluded Asia Cup T20, you wouldn’t think twice, but get this talented pacer straight in. 

Shabbir Rahman- He has been consistently amongst the runs and this is no time to leave him out. 

Dark Horses 

Mohammad Hafeez- He looked in good form in the warm-ups and given that he will bat up the order, he is likely to score some handy runs. 

Sarfraz Ahmed- He is a cheeky little keeper-batsman who loves to be involved in the game regularly. Very inventive and thinking cricketer.
