TFG Fantasy Pundit: All-rounders from IRE vs BAN likely to generate more fantasy points

Overview

Bangladesh and Ireland will lock horns in an all-important World T20 qualifier tomorrow at Dharamsala.

The conditions will favour the spinners and bowlers who have variations. The ball might not come onto the bat easily, but the boundaries on both sides of the wicket aren’t very long.

The all-rounders from both teams are likely to contribute the bulk of the fantasy cricket points.

Our probable 11 that could take to the field

BAN- Soumya Sarkar, Tamim Iqbal, M Mahmadullah, Shakib al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shabbir Rahman, Nasir Hossain, Al-Amin Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Mashrafe Mortaza, Arafat Sunny/ Mustafizur Rahman

IRE- Paul Stirling, Kevin O’Brien, Neil O’Brien, Gary Wilson, William Porterfield, Andrew Poynter, Boyd Rankin, George Dockrell, Andy Mcbrine, Mark Sorensen, Chris Young

Players who cannot be ignored for this round

Paul Stirling- Continue persisting with this dynamic opener. If he gets going, there will be plenty of fantasy points on offer.

Al-Amin Hossain- His ability to take wickets at regular intervals has been a big plus for Bangladesh and at the moment, he appears to be hitting the right rhythm.

Tamim Iqbal- He was the top scorer for Bangladesh in the first game. He looked in good touch and this is no time to ignore him.

Dark Horses

Gary Wilson- Like we saw in the previous game, he will bat one down and might play the role of a sheet anchor. He can also keep wickets.

George Dockrell- The premier Irish spinner was dropped from the first game, but should be in the team for this game. He is likely to remain amongst the wickets.

TFG FANTASY XI: Paul Stirling (VC), Kevin O’Brien (C), Gary Wilson, George Dockrell, Tamim Iqbal, M Mahmadullah, Shakib al Hasan, Shabbir Rahman, Mashrafe Mortaza, Mark Sorensen, Andrew Poynter

Happy Hunting!!!
