Former Zimbabwean cricketer Streak to join Gujarat Lions as bowling coach
FORMER ZIMBABWE CRICKETER HEATH STREAK is likely to be appointed as the bowling coach of the Gujarat Lions for IPL-9.
Streak who took the role of a bowling coach post-retirement started his stint with his national team and then moved on to playing a similar role with the Bangladesh team. Going ahead into the cash-rich statement, the 41-year-old is slated to continue nursing the fast bowling talent in the competition.
Under Streak’s coaching, the Bangladeshi quickies have immensely benefitted and the results are there to be seen. The Former all-rounder is set to join the Gujarat support team along with former Aussie cricketer Brad Hodge.
Streak is currently playing in the ongoing Masters Champions League (MCL) in the UAE.
