La Liga to set up academy in West Bengal, announces Chief Minister
LA LIGA IS expanding its presence in Indian football's youth development circuit.
The Spanish league is looking to set up a football academy in West Bengal, according to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

La Liga clubs have partnered with many clubs in India before, but a flagship academy from the league itself will be a new step.
The announcement was made after a session with La Liga attended by the CM, Sourav Ganguly and representatives of the three major football clubs in the state namely East Bengal, Mohun Bagan & Mohammedan Sporting.
