THE INDIAN JUNIOR men's and women's hockey teams will be overseen by Dutch coach Herman Kruis.
Kruis, whose most recent stint as hockey coach was a 7 year spell at the BHV Push women's team, has previously coached the women's nationa teams of Netherlands and Belarus.
He rose to fame as the coach of HC's-Hertogenbosch women's team, where he helped them win the Dutch national title six times between 2000 and 2008.
The more than two decades of coaching experience he brings to the table is expected to benefit the Indian junior national teams and boost the talent pipeline to the senior teams; a role Kruis is familiar with thanks to his long spells at professional clubs.
