Kohli rested; Siddharth Kaul & Shreyas Iyer to debut in Rohit Sharma-led ODI side against Sri Lanka
THE BCCI announced the squad for the third Test and for the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, starting December 10. While skipper Virat Kohli will lead the side in the Delhi Test, the board has decided to rest him for the 50-over matches.
Opener Shikhar Dhawan, who missed the Nagpur Test owing to personal reasons, has returned to the squad for the third and the final Test. Meanwhile, Siddharth Kaul and Shreyas Iyer are set to make their ODI debut against Sri Lanka. 27-year-old Kaul had featured for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 10 and had picked 16-wickets from 10-matches. On the other hand, Shreyas scored 338-runs in 12 matches for Delhi Daredevils in the same season.
