I-League 2017: Disappointed fans vent their frustration on twitter after schedule announcement
I-LEAGUE fixtures were finally released but the fans aren't pleased and have reacted with their emotions. They took to Twitter to express their disappointment in the timings and various other issues. Former player Bhaichung Bhutia too joined the cricticism.
Following are the tweets:
#ISL matches at 8:00 pm...I-League matches at 2:00 pm...shows just who the AIFF really cares for. And what logic to hold ISL & I-League at the same time...what stupidity are they trying to prove and to whom

That's why I said that instead of playing in I-League

All clubs should back out of playing
It is going to damage players health, clubs like Minerva are talking loans to pay Salaries
Best is don't play it at all
You either have an I-League or an ISL...you cant have two tournaments being played simultaneously...it just does not make sense. All that the AIFF has done is completely degrade the I-League. Make it a 2nd division with promotion to the #ISL

I-League was always guaranteed a slow death the day PDM got the public sector to sponsor it...played mid-weeks games at 2:00 pm and basically treated at like a step-child The current AIFF regime has gone one step further and just ignored it

nothing better to expect...weekday matches will affect the turn out for sure

They get melt down quickly....!🙃
2pm who will go to stadiums at that time??

Pathetic scheduling. Majority of match's kick-off time is 2:00 pm. Previous years it is 4:00 pm, now to accommodate #isl they further puss it back. #ileague #indianfootball. Also league's length was also truncated. Very very conjusted.

Top division league for only namesake

What a shame. I league deserves much better. Both league should survive and do well but not by killing each other.
