Brave CF 9: Careers at stake as Carl Booth and Jarrah Al-Selawie to clash in a rematch
Carl Booth stated that his biggest goal is to capture the welterweight championship after earning a victory at Brave 9 to become a top contender in the welterweight division. Carl Booth missed his opportunity in Brazil to capture the championship against Carlston Harris.

However, the bout is critical for both the fighters as Carl Booth has to secure a much-awaited win while Jarrah is seeking redemption from the shocking loss he had faced as Carl Booth made his debut years ago. Booth made his welterweight debut at the Cage Warriors, facing none other than Jarrah Al-Selawi from Jordan. Jarrah Al-Selawi, was having his second fight of his pro-career after a quick 33-second knockout victory.
Carl Booth knocked out Jarrah in a mere 31 seconds thereby shocking the crowd. Jarrah is currently on a 4 fight winning streak and has fought twice at Brave Combat Federation.
Jarrah finished Erik Carlsson from Sweden during the second round by submission in his first fight for the promotion. Later, Jarrah scored a decision victory over Daniele Scatizzi from the Straight Blast Gym while head coach John Kavanagh was watching from the ringside. The score is not settled for Jordan's favorite fighter.
Jarrah is the only fighter to knock out Mohammed Fakhreddine and that makes it a huge test for Booth. Booth is fighting out of Nottingham, England is training in Nottingham MMA Gym. Booth holds a career record of 7 wins and 2 loses. He made debut for the promotion with a vicious knockout of Gadzhimusa Gadzhiev from Russia, which created an impact in the Middle Eastern MMA.
The two will definitely be putting everything on the line because the fight is about retribution and pride. While Jarrah has to prove and progress, Booth will be fighting hard to get his career back to his winning ways.
Apart from Booth, Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions will feature Hardeep Rai and Charlie Leary from the United Kingdom. The fight night is taking place at Bahrain on November 17 at Khalifa Sports City. The event will be the focus of the 2017 Brave International Combat Week which also features 2017 IMMAF Word Championship.
