WATCH: Hardik Pandya receives his Test cap from Virat Kohli 

ALL ROUNDER Hardik Pandya’s name was announced in the playing XI for the first Test against Sri Lanka at Galle. After more than a year and a half since making T20I debut, the youngster was handed his Test cap by skipper Virat Kohli.

The BCCI took to its Twitter account to share the moments with Indian cricket fans.

Following Galle Test, both teams will travel to Colombo to play their second Test, starting August 7. Subsequently, they will play their final Test at Dambulla from August 12.
