16/8/2015 - Dudu hattrick propels Mohun Bagan to 5-2 win

DUDU OMAGBEMI fired a hat-trick as Mohun Bagan breezed past Southern Samitiy 5-2 in a Calcutta Football League premier division-A game in Kolkata on Sunday.

Apart from the three goals scored by the Nigerian, Katsumi Yusa struck a brace for the winners, who led 4-1 at halftime, IANS report.

Snehasish Chakraborty and Taurus Manneh found the target for Southern Samity at the Mohun Bagan ground encounter.

Mohun Bagan went into the lead in the 19th minute when Yusa headed in a brilliant cross form Lalkamal Bhowmick.

Dudu doubled the least three minutes later with a deft left footer, while Yusa made the scoreline 3-0 soon after the half hour mark.

After Dudu struck again with a lethal header, Chakraborty pulled one back in the 38th minute by converting a spot kick.

Crossing over, Dudu completed his hattrick in the 55th minute by following Ram Malik's centre to finish off with a header.

Dudu, making his debut for Mohun Bagan, was adjudged the man of the match.

After three matches, Mohun Bagan occupy the third slot in the table with five points. Samity have the same number of points as Bagan from four matches, but are placed two runs lower because of an inferior goal difference.
