WATCH: the state of Mizoram celebrates Aizawl FC's historic I-League triumph

MIZORAM were in the mood of celebration on Monday and rightly so as their team Aizawl FC won their first I-League title also becoming the first north-east team to lift a top division trophy.

The team arrived in Aizawl on Monday and was received with a grand welcome by the fans and a procession was held till the Lammual stadium where the celebrations took place.

And as they marched on in an open bus, fans flocked and crowded the roads showering their love and chanting for the their favourite team.

It was not it, dancing and singing and the fans chants were awaiting the team and the management.
