UFC 210 Results: Cormier retains the title, Johnson announces retirement

UFC 210 turned out to be another memorable outing for UFC. Headlined by the Cormier vs. Johnson 2, the show had plenty of newsworthy fights.

Cormier retained the title

In the main event, Cormier managed to get his second win against Johnson after a RNC submission in the second round. Johnson had a good first round but could not cope up with the pressure from Cormier. After the fight, Johnson would go on to shock the world by announcing his retirement from the sport. He finishes his career with a record of 22-6 and had only tasted defeat to Cormier in the past five years.

Elsewhere, in the co-main event, controversy unwrapped as Gegard Mousasi got a TKO win over Chris Weidman. Mousasi, however, made it clear that he was not happy with the way he won and is apparently open to a rematch.

Cynthia Calvillo, Thiago Alves and Charles Oliveira also secured wins in the main card. Patrick Cote, meanwhile, announced his retirement as well and surprised everyone Below are the complete results from UFC 210..
