Sore shoulder could see Kohli miss out on the initial games for RCB in IPL10
ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE skipper Virat Kohli might have to miss the start of IPL 2017 as he is battling against time to recover from shoulder injury, which he picked during the Ranchi Test.
After reclaiming the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with a 2-1 series win, during the presentation ceremony, as reported by PTI, Kohli revealed,
"It's still a few weeks to go before I can be 100% on the field. But these things happen in your career. Got to take it in my strike and move forward."
During the third Test between India and Australia, the Delhi-lad injured his right shoulder while trying to save a boundary. Although he came to bat in the next innings and also took the field during Australia’ second innings, the 28-year-old did not feature in the fourth and the final Test.
RCB are yet to offer an official comment on Kohli's availability. Kohli, who scored 973 runs in the 2016 IPL, has missed only one game for the franchise so far, in the inaugural season in 2008.
